Northrop Grumman Principal/Sr Principal Test Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer Test based out of Huntsville, Alabama on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) Poland contract, a US Army foreign military sale to Poland for its medium-range air and missile defense program. IBCS integrates disparate radars and weapons to construct a far more effective IAMD enterprise. IBCS delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing IBCS, Poland will transform its IAMD capabilities in a manner consistent with the U.S. Army.

As a test engineer on the Poland program you will:
Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating test product.
Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements.
Document results of completed testing.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
For a Principal Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience as a Systems/Test Engineer, 3 years with a Master's degree, OR 0 years with a PhD
For a Sr Principal Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, 7 years with a Master's, OR 4 years of experience with a PhD
Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
Experience developing testing criteria to satisfy requirements
Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an IPT environment
Active Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to all parts of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
Experience in DOORS/JIRA
Experience in Agile work environment
Security + certification
