Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for you to join our team as an Engineer Software based out of Huntsville, Alabama on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) Poland contract, a US Army foreign military sale to Poland for its medium-range air and missile defense programme. IBCS integrates disparate radars and weapons to construct a far more effective IAMD enterprise. IBCS delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing IBCS, Poland will transform its IAMD capabilities in a manner consistent with the U.S. Army. Join Northrop Grumman as we provide innovative systems, products, and solutions for autonomous systems, cyber, C4ISR, and logistics and modernization to customers worldwide. As an NG Engineer Software, you will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; preparesoperating instructions; design and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensure software standards are met.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Engineer Software: 9 Years of experience in software engineering, Will also consider 5 Years software experience with Bachelors in Science, OR 3 Years with Masters. Active Security Clearance. Strong development skills in Java and C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

IBCS/ITEx experience. Modelling and Simulation experience. Air and missile defense domain experience.
