Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) seeks to fill the position of Network Engineer 4, in the Engineering, Science, & Technology (ES&T) function helping to support the Network Design and Engineering discipline within Central Region Engineering.
This role will have responsibility for the development, design and implementation of complex network architectures as well as support of state-of-the-art solutions in NGMS captures, programs, research and development. The candidate will need to understand vulnerability management and mitigation methods as it relates to mission critical network architectures in a deployed weapon system.

The position is located in Huntsville AL with travel to company and customer sites required up to 10% of the time.
This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work.
Requires 9 years with Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
9 years of technical experience in any combination of Computer, Engineering, Hardware, or Cyber engineering disciplines accompanied by high proficiency in technical problem solving to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring
Proven technical experience with computer networking technologies and management of communication networks.
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Current DoD 8570 compliant certification (CISSP, Security )
Current, industry recognized networking related certifications
Active Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certification.
Experience with network monitoring products and processes.
Experience effectively leading diverse technical teams across multiple locations
Experience as a technical leader and visionary
