The Poland IAMD Modernization Business Area Synchronization Manager is responsible for developing tactical to strategic-level planning products that support the integration of all programmatic and capture activities within the Business Area related to deploying IBCS to the Polish Defense forces. This position is also responsible for supporting planning for the IBCS enterprise across multiple domestic and international IBCS pursuits. The Synchronization Manager reports directly to the Poland Business Area director. Integrated planning products support clarity of communication within Northrop Grumman and with multiple levels of the customer up to and including general officers. Frequent communication with both the domestic and international customer is expected. Integrated planning products are also utilized to inform detailed schedule development within individual programs in the business area to support the achievement of IBCS system-of-systems delivery to Polish Army end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Frequent interface with senior leaders within the Army Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) project office to gather information on current contracts and planning related to Poland IAMD implementation.
Frequent interface with Northrop Grumman Poland and Polish Defense officials to gather information to support integration and deployment of IBCS.
Frequent interface with business area program managers and IPT leads to support synchronization of program-level integrated master schedules.
Development of integrated planning products ranging from conceptual integration plans to detailed planning artifacts pulling data from a variety of sources both internal and external.
Presentation of planning artifacts up to the senior executive and general officer level.
Development of processes and procedures to drive synchronization of multiple programs.
Ability to conduct rehearsal of concept drills with a diverse group of organizations to validate planning products
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of program management or IPT leadership; Master’s degree with 6 years of program management or IPT leadership experience; 12 years of overall industry experience
Demonstrated customer interface skills
Demonstrated large-team organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated executive communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience in developing planning artifacts
Demonstrated ability to understand and extract data from integrated master schedules and integrated master plans
Demonstrated experience in coordinating system integration
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense background or experience
Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of planning experience on a high-visibility program
Integrated Battle Command System background or experience
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
Program capture experience
Proposal development experience
Project Management Professional certification, or similar
Active Top Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $149,400 - $224,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
