Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Principal Software Quality Engineer, who will work at our Huntsville, Alabama location,
and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here
Engineer, Software Quality Assurance - The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing documentation that implements the GBSD Enterprise and Program Software Quality Assurance Plan, policies, procedures, & tools required to support Program pre-award & Day1 Tasks as well as Enterprise infrastructure needs.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's of Science degree in Software Engineering and 5 years of Software Assurance experience OR a Master's of Science Degree with 3 years of experience OR PhD Degree with 0 years of experience; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance
Experience in developing and implementing Software Quality Assurance plans
Experience in evaluation, trace, and analysis of requirements
- Experience in Metric development for process health and performance monitoring
