Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
The successful candidate will manage Cyber Security support for Global Hawk Cyber Security scan support and direct a team of Cyber Security engineers to analyze and report system vulnerabilities. The candidate will support the team during travel to multiple locations and be responsible for the handling and processing of the classified data generated. The candidate should be experienced in the Red Hat Linux and Windows operating systems and Cisco network devices. The candidate will work with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other tools to assess the cyber security posture of the system.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Science and Engineering with 10 years experience.
Interim Top Secret Clearance required to start
3 years experience with ACAS, Nessus, NMAP and Nexus Lifecycle Development tools.
10 years experence with Solaris and Linux operating systems.
Security+ certification or other 8570.1 certification
Red Hat or Linux+ Certification. Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) software and ground stations.
