Northrop Grumman Cyber Architect 3/4 (Secret required) in Huntsville, Alabama
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Cyber Architect 3/4 in the Engineering, Sciences & Technology (ES&T) Central Region Engineering, Huntsville Site. In the Mission Systems sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe. The qualified applicant will work in our Huntsville, Alabama office, headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division.
The Cyber Architect will be responsible for the following:
Designing and developing new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
Ensuring system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recover, and business continuity planning and providing analytical support for security policy development and analysis.
Integrating new architectural analysis of cyber security features and relating existing system to future needs and trends, embedding advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, providing engineering recommendations, and resolving integrations and testing issues.
May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This position may be filled at either a level 3 or 4.
BQs for a Cyber Architect 3: a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
BQs for a Cyber Architect 4: a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Position requires a current Final Secret Clearance
Must possess DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher (GSEC, GICSP, SCCP, Security+ CE or CCNA-Security) (reference: http://iase.disa.mil/iawip/Pages/iabaseline.aspx for list of qualified certifications)
Prior work experience in a secure IT or Engineering environment
Experience in system administration
Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and with a team in a fast paced environment
Experience with DSS
DISA STIGs experience/knowledge
Documentation skills to create RMF artifacts
