Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will lead program control aspects within Missiles Defense Solutions Business Unit. This position be located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Review, preparation and presentation of Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS) data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
Identify funding requirements and consumption
Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Compliance and contractual reporting
On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams
Review of contractual documents, including Technical Instructions
Assistance with change management and Program Directives (PD)
Support of pricing and proposal activities
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 6 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense
Experience in EVMS and general accounting
High degree of attention to detail and history of work product integrity
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and funding consumption tracking
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)
Prior experience preparing and presenting analysis to team, management and customers.
The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
A current, active TS/SCI security clearance
MBA or CPA certification
Previous experience managing/supervising a program, project, or personnel.
Experience with Cobra or MPM
