Northrop Grumman Engineering Systems and Integration (ESI) business unit is a seeking a creative, skilled and motivated multifaceted Network Systems Engineer to join our team. This position offers an opportunity for the right candidate to develop network operational design.

The successful candidate will need:

·To troubleshoot, upgrade and implement improvements to the entire enclave, to include but not limited Cisco, Juniper, VMWare, Windows and Linux OS.

·Good interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to help guide team as well as work independently and networking tasks will include working with our customer on and as part of the larger team.

·To be a self-starter with the ability to take on complex and challenging tasks with minimal direction, remain current on emerging technologies trends, while driving for innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

·US Citizenship with an Active DoD Secret Clearance

·High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related degree with 2 years of related experience.

·Network Certifications from Industry Standards (Example: Cisco Certified, CCNA, CCDA, CCDP, JNCP, etc.)

·In depth understanding and knowledge of network security guidelines (Example: PCI, SOX, NIST, DISA, etc.)

·Direct experience in network design, minimum 2 years.

·Strong experience developing and troubleshooting network applications on multiple platforms in an enterprise domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Technical certifications that support Network Design, Routing and Security

·In depth understanding of Cisco basedenvironments

·Dynamic routing with OSPF, EIGRP and security highly ideal.

·NOC/SOC design, administration, functionality, and recovery.

·Type 1 encryption configuration

·NIST 800-53 controls
