Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a highly qualified Mission Assurance Manager 3. This position is located in Hill AFB, Utah and is a dual responsibility role including Mission Assurance (MA) Manager with oversight of the Utah Area Operating Units (OUs), as well as performing the function of MA Manager for the Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) OU. The selected candidate will report to the Flight System Solutions (FSS) Business Unit (BU) Mission Assurance Director.

The successful candidate must possess a complete and thorough understanding of Program Management and Mission Assurance as well as proven leadership, managerial, and communication skills across all levels of the company. The successful candidate must have a superior ability to establish and nurture an excellent working relationship with all Customers both internal and external and be able to quickly and sufficiently understand the technical domain encompassed by the Utah Area Operating Units (UAOUs).
In the role of MA Manager for UAOUs, the successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to OU and program MA representatives, provide dotted line leadership for EHS and Supplier Quality team and perform as the focal point to the Business Unit for all MA activities including Program Assurance, Quality Assurance, System Assurance and integration with Supplier Quality. The MA Manager for UAOUs will oversee the business development activities to ensure MA is appropriately bid for all new programs and task orders and positions are subsequently staffed in a timely manner.
In the role of MA Manager for ESI OU, the successful candidate will be functionally responsible for providing and managing MA support for existing and future programs and task orders in the ESI OU including Production, Software, Design and Supplier Quality. These responsibilities include implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the established QMS according to the requirements of the Quality Standard and Division, Sector and Corporate quality policies, processes and procedures ensuring the total integration of quality requirements throughout all phases of design, planning, procurement, test, delivery and post-delivery support.
The ESI MA Manager will participate in the preparation and approval of project work packages, schedules, cost estimates and budgets. This position will also have overall responsibility for driving the corrective action process complimentary to the established nonconforming material control system to ensure both timely and effective root cause analyses and preventative actions to support direct responses to Internal Issues, Customer Complaints and Supplier Discrepancies. ESI OU MA Manager will also responsible for identifying Quality skills, competencies and training needs within the ESI organization to ensure effective support to meet mission requirements in a budget constrained environment. This role is also responsible for ensuring process and product visibility status is provided to the FSS BU MA Director.

Bachelor of Science (BS) and a minimum 8 years’ experience in Program Management, Systems Engineering or Mission/Quality Assurance -OR- a Master’s Degree with a minimum 5 years' experience
Minimum 3 year’s progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100\
Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, process and tools
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient with the MS Office Professional suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
Master of Science (MS) in engineering
Minimum 5 years recent ICBM experience
