Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Configuration Analyst. This position will be located in Hill AFB, UT and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Review weapon system documentation such as technical orders, engineering drawings, production specifications, and interface documents to support research by sustainment engineering

  • Establish and prepare change orders to documentation according to USAF requirements

  • Analyze proposed changes to documentation, developed by others, to determine proper format and change requirements of the customer are met

  • Create and coordinate modification records and spreadsheets for management control

  • Support engineers in briefing proposed changes to an engineering review board and then to the customer for final acceptance

  • Work under general supervision. Work is reviewed regularly for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy

This position may have a 9/80 work schedule available. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.




You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat PDF

  • US Citizenship and must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with USAF technical orders and engineering drawings

  • Experience with Minuteman ICBM weapon system

  • Ability to perform complex tasks independently without appreciable direction

  • Logistics and supply chain background

  • Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
