Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers to join the NGTS Intern Program. This position will be located in Ogden, UT.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Engineering and System's Integration Organization. The selected candidate will work in collaborative engineering teams that will utilize the intern's software engineering skillsets.

As an intern, you'll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of Software Engineering specializations that may include:

Roles and Responsibilities

Complete a capstone project that is aligned with tasking assigned over the summer.

Participate in collaborative teams working towards specified project goals.

Contribute to team efforts employing full life-cycle product development on a variety of architectures and target platforms.

Utilize software engineering technologies such as Object Oriented Design/Programming, Client-Server Distributed Architectures, Agile Development, C/C++, C#, Java, Embedded Real-time Development, .NET, and Unix, Linux, Windows VXWorks platforms, etc.

Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2019

  • Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering OR related Technical Degree

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2019

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
