Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Manager, Programs 3 to provide objective-oriented direction and work assignment to team members utilizing management guidelines & general policies of the US Program Management Office for the NGTS Electronic Sustainment Center of Excellence.
Consider a new role overseeing cross-Sector collaboration, new capability stand up, and international growth. The US-based NGTS Program Management Office (PMO) for the Australian Electronic Sustainment Center of Excellence (ESCE) is seeking an experienced program and/or operations manager to lead efforts to operationalize the ESCE near Sydney, Australia. The ESCE is a $AUD 50M strategic investment by Northrop Grumman to establish an indigenous, local capability for maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrade (MRO&U) of Northrop Grumman and third-party electronic components to include radars, sensors, communications systems, and self-protection systems. As a leading member of the US PMO, you will serve in an integral role of facilitating the transition of the ESCE from concept to fully functioning organization. The ESCE is a top priority for Northrop Grumman and your efforts will have a lasting impact within the company.
Manage project plans and integration of plans across multiple geographically dispersed locations.
Identify and manage focus on critical path items.
Advise and create solutions to address critical path and other project management challenges and opportunities.
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or STEM-related field
7 years in program and/or project management to include people leadership
Awareness of Northrop Grumman product set and broader defense electronics marketplace
Working knowledge of level of repair analysis
Experience in cross-functional planning and coordination
Familiarity with US export control regulations, technology release process, FMS and DCS sales processes
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active US Secret-level clearance (US citizenship required)
Proficiency in MS office tool suite to include MS Project
Experience in electronic component sustainment and modernization for radar, sensor, communication and/or self-protection systems
Prior relevant experience supporting comparable programs in Australia and/or supporting Australian DoD customers
Prior relevant experience support in operations transition to include site activation or product operations stand up
Prior relevant experience with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
Track record of leading high performance teams
Active US Secret-level security clearance
