The Advanced Defense Services (ADS) Division is seeking a Business Manager to lead an Operating Unit across a broad range of responsibilities. This position will partner with the Operating Unit Director, will lead a large staff of Program Control Analysts, and will prioritize requirements to help ensure the achievement of financial goals. This person will also be the business management focal point for audit and compliance activities, as well as ensuring compliance with FAR and all internal disclosure statements. The position is located in Herndon, VA.
Oversee daily business management operations.
Provide business oversight, interface with applicable customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with contract negotiations as needed to ensure sound business deals within authorized parameters are achieved.
Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved.
Provide guidance and leadership for all functions of program control, scheduling and pricing.
Supporting the preparation and coordination of monthly financial forecasting and reporting of Sales, Margin, Awards, and Cash for the business unit.
Performing cost and schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
Manage the resources available, troubleshoot as required, and act efficiently to remove obstacles.
The ideal candidate will be proficient at developing and motivating a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, and presentation skills.

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, with 10 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting or program control or a Masters degree and 8 years of experience or 14 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Understanding of government Cost Accounting Standards and the FAR
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizations skills
Knowledge and experience with EVMS
Previous experience leading and managing geographically diverse teams
