Northrop Grumman Business Management Analyst 2 in Herndon, Virginia
Start your future with a new mission! Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Business Management Analyst 2 to support the MDPS Financial Reporting organization.
This position is located in Herndon, VA.
Roles and responsibilities for the Business Management Analyst 2 include, but are not limited to, the following:
Monthly Awards, Acquisitions, and Backlog reporting and reconciliation, including updates to the ignore hierarchy, as required and tracking RPO adjustments
Monthly/quarterly forecasting, reporting, and analysis to include Income Statement and Balance Sheet related activities as well as narrative reporting
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities
Hyperion Planning Inputs
CRAD reporting and forecasting, including coordination with Division Technology group
Quarterly Top Awards and stage/percent complete reporting
Tax reporting/coordination activities (sales by state, Fairfax County S/W development, etc.)
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
The candidate should be well organized, schedule-driven, and have the ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines as well as be a proven team player with strong communication skills. A background in non-SAP and foreign entity processes is preferred, as is experience with HFM, Hyperion planning, or other reporting/forecasting tools. The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills to support variance reporting. Occasional local travel between VA and MD may be required. We are looking for a highly motivated, team player to join our dynamic, fast-paced financial reporting and forecasting organization.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related area with 3 years experience - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of experience. (An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
Strong PC skills required with high level Excel skills, specifically the ability to insert pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting, etc.)
Prior financial analysis and/or reporting experience.
The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
SAP, BW, Cognos, or other financial reporting/forecasting tools
Hyperion Planning, HFM, access database experience
