Northrop Grumman Defense Services is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician IV for our Grand Forks AFB, ND. Location. The candidate will provide specialized technical advice and assistance to resolve maintenance and support problems with GH systems operational, maintenance, support equipment and support system (includes PSATs when not used in an exclusively training environment). All support will be accomplished IAW approved engineering direction (Technical Order, 00-25-107, Maintenance Assistance). Maintains applicable USAF required records, manuals and inspection forms. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques. Provide guidance and instruction in the use of base assigned system peculiar support equipment, special tools and test equipment. Records information on maintenance data collection forms and automated systems. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution in minimum time. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Candidate will also deploy up to 50% of the time in support of other OCONUS operations.


Basic Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and two (2) years of specialized experience OR; six (6) years of relevant experience w/o any formal education.

  • A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Current US DOD SECRET security clearance.

  • Working knowledge of IMDS/CAMS maintenance data collection

- Certified UAV Technician / Aircraft Electronics Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Air Force maintenance experience desired.

  • (FAA) Airframe and Power plant (A&P) desired.

  • Working knowledge of AFI 21-101
