Northrop Grumman Defense Services is currently seeking an experienced Deputy Site Manager to provide leadership to our Global Hawk team at Grand Forks AFB , ND.

The Deputy Site Manager works closely with Site Manager. Co-lead for daily operations of company personnel assigned to Field Service and Site Infrastructure in support of contractual requirements and corporate goals.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Oversee field service representatives and contractor field teams supporting the US Air Force Global Hawk operations

  • Maintain liaison with both military and company IPTs having direct impact on the air vehicle and field support systems, configuration management, technical orders, field modifications, repair programs, software support, and support equipment in order to exchange information, coordinate efforts and problem resolution

  • Act as primary point of contact to customer for critical item repairs visibility and tracking

  • When required act on behalf of site manager as point of contact with the Air Force customer

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and career development to all NG employees

  • Ensure adherence to Northrop Grumman and TS Human Resources policies. Maintains close coordination with the program manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in aviation and/or 5 years of Aviation Management, or an additional 15 years of experience will be considered in-lieu of degree

  • 3+ years of experience with military flight operations and maintenance management experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Global Hawk Operations and Maintenance

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Proficient in multi-tasking and tracking many program aspects and their progress in CONUS and OCONUS locations

  • Must be able to gain base access and acquire a US passport

  • Must be a US Citizen with Active Secret Security Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of USAF maintenance instructions and technical orders

  • Knowledge and understanding of DCMA INST 8210
