Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Facility Security Officer for our Goleta, CA location.
Duties are as follows:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
High School Diploma OR GED and a minimum of 6 years of security experience OR a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of security experience
FSO (Facility Security Officer) certification
Current, active US government security clearance at the Secret level
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
Experience with NISPOM requirements
Experience with Physical Security, to include access control & UL2050 requirements
Experience with PerSec, to include the DoD Security Clearance process
Experience with Information Security, to include classification management and marking requirements
Experience with CI, to include Insider Threat training
Experience with Internation Security, to include Technology Control Plans
Experience with Export Control/ITAR/EAR requirement
