Northrop Grumman Australia Technology Services (NGA-TS) is a key supplier in the Defence Aerospace domain providing a range of innovative and cost-effective capabilities and technologies. These capabilities encompass all levels of platform sustainment and stewardship including engineering, maintenance, modification, repair, training, in-service monitoring, reliability, planning, purchasing and supply.
NGA-TS is seeking highly motivated and professional Procurement Coordinator . This role reports to the Procurement Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the coordination, and execution of activities associated with the procurement of materials, supplies and services required to meet the Program outcomes, and to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements.
Identify and engage suppliers with thecapability to deliver the requirements of the Business Unit/ Program.
Request and evaluatequotations/ proposals from suppliers for materials, supplies, equipment andservices to ensure value for money and probity in accordance with companypolicies and procedures.
Liaisewith subcontractors and suppliers on quality and delivery of products andservices.
Raise purchase orders inaccordance with company policies and procedures, to support business andprogram requirements
Proactively interacts withsuppliers, to ensure that services, materials, supplies, and equipment areshipped and delivered on contracted dates.
Management and maintenance ofcompany and customer electronic Management Systems and associated applications,databases, processes and procedures.
Supportto the Business Management function to reconcile supplier invoices
Ensure that all procurementissues are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner and to the satisfactionof the customers, both internal and external.
Contribute and activelyparticipate in Global Supply Chain functional planning and presentations
Ensure a productiverelationship is maintained with suppliers.
