Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Digital Engineer / Digital Engineer to join the Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) Digital Hardware and Integrated Circuits (DHIC) Department in Gilbert, AZ. This team develops digital electronics for national security space applications. The engineering group designs and develops digital circuit cards, FPGAs, and ASICs for satellites used for secure communications, missile warning and missile defense, space security and advanced technologies that enable our national security space customers to carry out their most vital missions - protecting the nation, the warfighter and preserving freedom, now and for decades to come.
Roles and Responsibilities-
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in an engineering discipline
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Salary Range (Bachelor's): $66,700 - $100,100
Salary Range (Master's): $80,800 $121,200
