Northrop Grumman is seeking a Military Training professional eager to constructively influence the future of U.S. Army simulation-driven training for the Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Mission Command Training Program Operations Group "C". This individual will work in close conjunction with the Commander Operations Group (COG) in the assignments and positioning of contractor personnel in support of Mission Rehearsal Exercises, Warfighter Exercises and ACC missions.
The Team Lead will manage NGTS personnel to ensure Army missions are fully supported to include management of employees, performance, recruiting, discipline etc. and any financial responsibility.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Advising the COG on simulation/simulation capabilities and limitations, while making adjustments to achieve desired results.
Providing leadership to the contractor effort at the on-site Mission Training Complex and coordinating with host units and other organizations involved in the exercise.
Keeping the Program Manager abreast on activities that may impact other NGTS organizations within MCTP.
When in the lead, ensures that supporting teams are fully integrated and given administrative support at the exercise site in the areas of hotel, transportation and other administrative requirements.
• MEL4-CGSC Field Grade Officer, BS or BA degree, with 10 years' relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI
• Familiarity with Army/Joint Forces doctrine, experience in simulation training and simulation programs used for Army training.
• Scenario development experience and familiar with MS Office Suite or software.
• Hands on experience in the assembly and presentation of MCTP AARs.
• Active DoD Top Secret SCI
• A working knowledge of the US Army's training simulation (WARSIM)
• A working knowledge of the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) AAR tool (ARCHER)
• A working knowledge of MCTP exercise planning, construct, and execution
• A working knowledge of the Northrop Grumman Financial planning and accounting
