Northrop Grumman Lead Facilities Planner 4 in Falls Church, Virginia
Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services sector is seeking a Lead Facilities Representative for it's Corporate office in Falls Church, VA. The selected individual will serve as a Facilities leader for Global Facility Planning, Operations and Project Management for select locations within the ES and Corporate facilities portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Manage and partner with Corporate customers, stakeholders and Northrup Grumman's real estate group to define global facilities requirements, establish and manage leased facilities for Corporate and International locations.
Implement and maintain facilities operations for designated domestic and international locations
Lead Facilities Integration, Portfolio Optimization and PM Support efforts.
Develop Multi-Year Strategic Facility Plans and Facilities Requirement Plans.
Create and maintain Strategic Facilities Plans and Playbook.
Develop Systems Roadmap and System/Process Automation Requirements; aligning with Enterprise capabilities, speed and quality initiatives.
Create and maintain KPIs and Automated Dashboard Reporting.
Develop and distribute detailed project management, portfolio and key performance metrics reports.
Leverage facilities data and analysis for reporting and data driven decisions.
Provide process improvement leadership by developing and implementing speed and quality initiatives, policies, processes and procedures; leveraging best practices and ensuring efficient and timely workflows.
Manage repair, maintenance, and installation/reconfiguration of all infrastructure systems to obtain efficient operation and maximum life expectancy.
Lead and oversee property improvements and inspection/repairs to property interior and exterior areas, including infrastructure equipment, walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, lighting, etc., recommending specifications and scheduling contractor support.
Daily operational management of contracted PM staff and full-time facilities manager, including maintenance vendors, monitoring performance, noting deficiencies, recommending changes and reviewing/approving invoices for vended services.
Confer with and advise management regarding construction and maintenance projects and priorities.
Partner with other Corp/ES functions (i.e., Security, EHS, IT Solutions, Real Estate, Procurement, Business Management, etc.) to provide seamless customer service and facilities management support.
Coordinate with EHS in administering safety, compliance and greeNG environmental programs.
Manage budgets and procurement process for facilities related vended services.
Develop and maintain Site Infrastructure Roadmap to accurately forecast facility needs and substantiate capital/expense budget requests and ROI.
Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports to department management detailing plan and project activities, status and identifying areas of value delivery and/or risks.
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned.
10 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree (Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering or related field) or 8 + years with Master's Degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities planning, budgeting, project management, design, construction and/or corporate owned or leased facilities maintenance. International experience a plus.
Experience in facilities planning, portfolio optimization and project management.
Proficiency in managing construction projects and implementing best practices.
Experienced in reading and understanding design, engineering and construction drawings.
Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point etc.) and in developing Executive level presentations.
Bachelor of Science Degree (Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering or related field)
Project Management Certifications
BOMA / IREM Certifications
Proficiency in managing, streamlining and assimilating large quantities of data.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective team collaboration and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
