Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) Analyst in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU). This position can be filled at our Fairfax, VA , or Linthicum, MD offices.
Position Overview:
As a CM/DM Analyst, your role will expand the following responsibilities:
Learning and executing our processes to deliver our software and documentation to our customer by email and transferring files.
Learning to manage the storage and processes for officially updating our documentation and data libraries.
Learn to follow our CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining change managed baselines.
Interfacing well with program management and team members while keeping track of documents and action items.
Supporting program documentation process by taking notes and action items.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to obtain relevant certifications to escort personnel in secure area, transfer data among networks, Security+ certification etc.
This requisition can either be filled as a Principal or Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Configuration Analyst : 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD; or 9 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 7 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD; or 13 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility, and willing to sit for a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in Agile and Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
Security Plus Certificate
Salary Range: $82,400 - $129,500
Salary Range 2: $102,200 - $160,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
