Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Software Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Fairfax, VA.
Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Senior Software developer with experience designing, developing, integrating, and deploying enterprise scale software application within Amazon's AWS Cloud environment.
Candidates should contain a broad technical background and feel comfortable working across the entire software stack within an Agile development environment.
Along with technical acumen, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for frequent interactions with Government technical and programmatic leadership.
Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years' related technical experience required.An additional 4 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodology.
Demonstrated experience with open-source tools and frameworks, including Git and Jenkins.
Demonstrated experience with Python.
Experience developing for AWS Cloud.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and present technical approaches and findings.
Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience working with Java.
Experience working with VUE.js.
Experience working with CKAN.
Experience working with REACT.js.
Experience working with AWS Cloud formation, Lambda, Step Functions, Cloudwatch, RDS, SQS, IAM and other AWS components.
Experience with Restful and Micro services development.
Experience with Intelligence Community missions and systems.
