The Payload and Ground Systems Division within the Space Systems Sector seeks a dynamic Technical Operations Manager to lead and provide support to the Workforce and Execution Excellence Engineering organization. The position is a technical operations manager at the division level, reporting directly to the Division Engineering Director of Workforce and Execution Excellence (WEE).
This position may be filled out of our Baltimore-Maryland, Redondo Beach-CA or Aurora-CO offices.
Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Payloads and Ground Systems, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team of business development professionals. The position is available in Chantilly Virginia.
The Business Development Manager will provide business development expertise, customer interfaces, capture leadership and strategy on ground development systems for space collection, processing and exploitation of mission solutions supporting both the Intelligence community and Department of Defense.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying customer markets, customer needs, cultivate customer relationships resulting in identifying new business opportunities and then translate NG capabilities and solutions into offerings resulting in new growth.
The successful candidate will increase NG's value proposition by building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, managing customer messaging and shaping plans, influencing internal investment decisions, serving as a capture manager at times and oversee others performing as capture managers, ensuring readiness for proposals, and supporting proposal development.
The position involves significant strategy development and implementation of strategic plans aligned to the Business Unit goals.
Ideal candidates for this position will be excellent at written and oral communications, possess a strong ability to establish and develop inter-personal relationships, have a substantial business development background, demonstrated strong leadership characteristic, and bring a combination of the following: ground processing expertise supporting the intelligence community and the tactical community; technology development; capture and proposal; and a history of working closely with the NRO and the DOD tactical community.

8 years' experience in a combination of business development, program management, and technical leadership;
Strong understanding of the Aerospace Industry and IC/DOD acquisitions
Experience with ground system development for space-related applications
Demonstrated familiarity with IC satellite customers for acquisition and operations
Current and active Top Secret SCI security clearance
Strong customer domain knowledge (Space Intelligence Community & space related DOD programs)
Strategic planning development and execution
Proven track record of business growth with the Space Intelligence Community and DOD programs across a broad range of customers
Experience leading and managing multi-disciplined teams
