Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The selected individual will provide a broad range of facilities site support activities as a single on-site Facilities person supporting our Grand Sky, Emerado, ND location.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance for facility, and related equipment

  • Perform snow removal

  • Handle the day to day oversight of site infrastructure

  • Support site management for facilities-related requests

  • Represent the Facilities organization as first-line communication for facilities and maintenance requests

  • Manage and coordinate facilities maintenance Purchase Orders

  • Act as Facilities point of contact for all maintenance service calls, resolve tickets and manage/respond via ticketing system database

  • Provide box relocation move assistance to employees for moves within the facility (utilize cart/move equipment etc).

  • Work with landlord to ensure that building responsibilities are addressed

  • Implement or coordinate the maintenance, installation and/or rearrangement of building/facility related equipment, furniture and systems.

  • Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities and facilities equipment and systems

  • Test, inspect, and troubleshoot facilities related systems

  • Coordinate communication, execution of work and site visits for facilities related contractor representatives in support of facilities related projects and repairs. Coordinate special/extra assignments for vendors (includes management communication when possible).

  • Stay aware of cleanliness level of the facilities and grounds and coordinate with necessary vendors to assure performing to contract and addressing any noted items that need attention (including ensuring performance of specific cleaning and replacement items).

  • Perform safety related (slip/trip/fall) clean-up, correction, or blocking of area if necessary during day/non-janitorial hours.

  • Coordinate and/or implement input of equipment data to the Maximo database system and participate on related team

  • Provide equipment and facilities related metrics and reports as needed or upon request (typically will be monthly).

  • Implement room set-ups (furniture and room configuration) as requested via work service requests or other forms of communication

  • Provide facilities support, and necessary status and feedback to management and site leadership


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma/GED with 4 years experience in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, equipment repair, and/or electrical.

  • Experience with using basic hand and power tools

  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Able to read floorplans, drawings, diagrams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified in use of Fork lift or other equipment

  • Able to utlize AutoCAD or software for creation of plans and/or diagrams

  • Experience with Maximo or other maintenance database software

  • Experience with Building Manangement Systems
