Northrop Grumman Tool Engineering Manager 2 in El Segundo, California

Lead and manage team whose function is design and/or manage supplier design and fabrication of tooling including dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

Responsible to manage a team of tool engineers, tool designers, and manufacturing analysts whose function isto design, plan, and manage thefabrication and installation of tools including but notlimited to: statement of work breakdown, scheduling and material requirement identification.

Responsible to support and provide status to program and homeroom leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's of Science STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Degree.

5 years design/tooling/tool engineering, mfg engineering,integration and/or fabricationexperience.

Aminimum of 2 years of leadership experience

The ability to obtain and maintaina DoD Secretclearance and program access is required after hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

8 yearstooling experience and a current in-scope (within six years)DoD Secretclearance and Program Access.

Automated equipment experience.
