Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aEngineer Mechanical - 4to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in EL Segundo, CA.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
-9 years professional engineering experience.
Direct, relevant technical experience in mechanisms and/or actuation systems disciplines.
An active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain program access
Minimum of 12 years professional engineering experience.
Master of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Prior technical and supplier management experience with a track record as a member of a team responsible for integrating air vehicle systems within schedule, labor and material cost requirements is preferred.
Experience with the design, development, and implementation of aerospace mechanical systems, actuators, and mechanisms as well as a working knowledge of complex mechanical subsystems and integration of subsystems hardware into Vehicle Systems is preferred.
Experience with industry standard design tools and processes including NX CAD, CATIA V5, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is advantageous.
