Perform as a Deputy Program Manager. This will require planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program control, and technical personnel to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high visible program management leadership for all Program Management Reviews (PMR) supporting F/A-18 E, F, G and F5 Programs, and Post production. Duties include the key elements of Program/Project Management, Business Development, Customer Intimacy, and People Leadership. Must have demonstrated Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience and qualifications to lead, plan, organize, staff, report, coordinate, control, identify/mitigate risk, and direct all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion. Maintain the interface to customer and suppliers. Responsible for the contract and non-contractual technical activities for Production. Responsible for interfacing with both Boeing and Navy customer on program/project activities, and brief executive leadership on performance of programs and pursuit efforts.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Program/Project Management or Engineering leadershipexperience
Requires prior Program Managementexperience on a major program
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage large multi-disciplinary teams
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
