Northrop Grumman Configuration Analyst 3 in El Segundo, California

Perform Data Management (DM) on a state-of-the art Military aircraft. This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Data Management processes, which establishes and maintains and controls program documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.The DM Analyst will provide systematic oversight and validation to ensure the quality and integrity of the program's products and data. Detailed working knowledge of data management processes and principles is a must. Other functions include but are not limited to: validate data products according to program requirements and standards, maintain and publish records showing scheduled and completed deliveries for Customer and Supplier data items, and audit the various DM products and processes. This position deals with developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation which frequently lead to unique solutions. Apply industry/ISO/DoD standards and specifications to tailored program needs. Candidate is responsible for the release and control of data in Teamcenter. Specific tasks: review design drawings and documents for release requirements, perform technical data verification of elements of the Build- To- Packages, release of design drawings, models, and documents, update status and product baselines in the CM tool. Update status accounting system to provide traceability of configuration baselines and provide configuration status report(s). Update system and subsystem-level hardware and software configuration identification; perform audits on drawings, documentation and Teamcenter database; create and update CM processes and procedures; and participate/co-chair configuration management meetings. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices GEIA-859A, EIA-649-1, EIA-649-B, Mil-HDBK-61A, techniques, and standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Degree or equivalent plus 6 years of data management experience

  • Candidates must have knowledge of MS Office applications,generalapplication of concepts, and principles.

  • Ability to implement and maintain data management processes

  • Ability to obtain a DoD SecretSecurityClearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teamcenter experience

  • Knowledge of Data Management principlesand processes

  • Active SecurityClearance
