Northrop Grumman Technical Services is looking for qualified Lead Aircraft Inspector. In this role you will be required to have relevant experience necessary to perform all duties relevant to their chosen skillset on operationally capable aircraft. You will check, test, and troubleshoot your Subject Matter Expertise for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation as necessary. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Applicants should have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 4 years relevant experience in the Aviation and Aerospace industry.
Complete understanding of technical data and blueprints.
Able to drive/operate specialty vehicles.
Ability to analyze situations to discover facts, knowledge, interpretations to carry out prescribe actions(s).
Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours.
Ability to be subject to a variety of physical conditions.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.
Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
Must possess and be able to maintain a minimum active Secret Security Clearance.
The ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.
- Operational experience is preferred over manufacturing or production, but all candidates will be considered.
