Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Staff Program Scheduler to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
The Staff Program Scheduler will be the EVMS lead for all the EC Operating Unit's EVMS programs. In addition, the Staff Program Scheduler will successfully interface with internal and external customers. In addition, the Staff Program Scheduler will mentor junior schedulers.
Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress
Identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
14 years' relevant experience in scheduling, business and/or project management
Proficient in MS Project or other related scheduling software
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret and SCI clearances
DCMA and/or Internal EVMS audit experience
Ability to write and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
Experience with schedule health metrics, including the 14-point assessment criteria
Experience with schedule risk analysis (SRA) software utilizing a Monte Carlo 3-point assessment and presenting the results to senior management and the customers
Experience integrating external customer or subcontractor program activity into the Program Summary Master Schedule for senior management and customer reviews
