Successful candidates for this position will work in a technical leadership role for a space program in Dulles VA, in the NSS business area within the Space Systems Sector. This Systems Engineering role will be the Cost Account Manager overseeing subcontractor execution of a mixed development and operations contract.
Candidate may also be called upon to support other activities, including architecture studies, and mission support. Candidate will be expected to perform classic Systems Engineering functions such as developing and managing ICDs, IRDs, and other system-level documentation products, and organizing and administrating process controls such as ERBs, CCBs, and FRBs.
The candidate will work with cross-discipline team members and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years systems engineering experience.
Direct customer and subcontractor interactions
Developing and managing ICDs, IRDs, and other system-level documentation products
Organizing and administrating process controls such as ERBs, CCBs, and FRBs.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with an active or current Top Secret/SCI level security clearance .
Experience with a space development program
Experience Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Background in agile development or leadership
DoD8570 Security+ certification
Network engineering and administration
Space to ground command and control environments
