The Systems Engineer/Mission Architect will be a key member of the Systems Integration team, responsible for operationalizing Concept of Operations and Design Reference Missions in support of ambitious space missions. A successful Mission Architect will have experience in space mission modeling and simulation using tools such as Freelflyer or STK for analyzing and visualizing complex systems in the context of a mission. The Mission Architect will optimize mission utility based on vehicle capabilities and mission constraints and flow requirements to the ground segment and operations planning organizations. A successful Mission Architect works well in an environment where several organizations have equities in establishing mission objectives and is capable of integrating those inputs, applying the equities of the program, and producing an approach that maximizes the utility of the mission while meeting the stringent schedule and technical requirements.
