Our Tactical Space Division is seeking an individual to perform complex administrative, coordination, and project support to the organization's HR Business Leader and the HR team. The position involves executive-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. The HR Coordinator will support the Division's approximately 3,400 geographically dispersed employees.
Partner with the HR Director to manage calendars, schedule and coordinate meetings to include all logistics, order supplies, book and coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare expense reports.
Prepare and lead Division pre-hire and orientation process, prepare employee exit documents, and coordinate with managers and service center to complete HRIS transactions, maintain department files, and update HR SharePoint site.
Provide projects and key initiatives support, including: collect and consolidate sensitive and confidential information to prepare reports, interact with many different levels within the company to ensure actions are completed timely
Provide support to the HR Business Partners and guidance to all levels of employees regarding human resource policies and procedures. Provide support to the HR Business Partners in the areas of: compensation, metrics/reporting, employee relations, talent acquisition, and training and development.
HS diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of HR administrator, HR coordinator, or closely related experience; OR a combination of 4 years of education and experience
Intermediate level Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills with knowledge and ability to perform V-Lookup, pivot tables, formulas, and macros and create and edit presentations. Experience using HRIS systems.
Must possess a high level of integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Proven success as a team player and collaborator and eagerness to learn in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse workforce
Excellent project coordination skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills, and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or Business Management and experience as an HR Administrator or HR Coordinator.
Interest in growing and developing in the HR field.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
