Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a qualified EVMS Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) that will interact with various business areas and division staff to support the Earned Value Management reporting requirements. The Analyst will interface closely with other Program Control Analysts, Control Account Managers (CAMs) as well as other management and Business/Finance to provide financial support and analysis. This position will require a presence in the Dulles, VA office.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serves as the Earned Value Management (EVMS) focal point; Interface with Cost Account Managers and provides monthly cost/schedule data for the program.
Supporting financial management on the program, including estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS), and ad hoc analyses and reporting.
Build partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVM implementation.
Cost Performance Reporting requirements utilizing COBRA or other CMS.
Identify and implement EVM process & procedure updates and improvements.
Maintain EVMS compliance including cost/schedule integration.
Setting up and maintaining cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
Supporting the Control Account Managers (CAMs) in the Variance Analysis Reporting (VAR) process.
Leading the Baseline Change Control process by working with CAMs, Schedulers and other staff to document and implement change requests into the cost management system (Cobra).
Working with Control Account Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) deliverables, Financial Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements and Proposal Support.
Effectively communicating with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables.
Supporting program IPMR reporting with an integrated cost, schedule, and performance database synchronized with enterprise and program business rhythms and requirements.
Assisting in preparing for internal and external audits.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience or a Master's degree with 4 years' experience in the following areas: business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fields. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Additional Basic qualifications:
Demonstrated working knowledge Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and customer reporting.
Experience with Deltek Cobra Reporting Tool
Experience in cost management or finance management.
Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.
Experience with financial analysis and/or cost analysis reporting.
Strong PC skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
Strong analytical ability.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Current Top Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Experience with EVMS reviews such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Internal Surveillances, EVMS Validation, or DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews.
Experience with program planning/scheduling.
Experience with Costpoint and/or Cognos.
Experience with Power BI.
Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.
Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
