We have an opening for an Electronic Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA .
To be successful in this role you should have excellent understanding of electronical theory, schematics, and mechanical diagrams. You should also possess the ability to assemble fine electronics. The ability to run wiring and cabling through metal chassis' and rack assemblies are extremely necessary. Custom fabrication is a plus such as drilling holes and cutting metal by hand using the right tools. You must also have ample experience using computer programs such as Word, Excel, Visio or other CAD software.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to efficiently build, assemble, and wire electronic fixtures of all types including building custom harnesses/cables as well as to complete all training assigned as required and in a timely manner.
An AA or other 2 year technical degree in a related discipline and 1 year of experience
Experience using Word, Excel, Visio or other CAD software
Experience understanding electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
Experience building harness assemblies and/or rack assemblies
Experience with custom fabrication such as drilling holes and cutting metal manually
