Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) Contracts, Pricing & Estimating, Property Management and International Trade Compliance organization is seeking a Contracts Director 2 to join our growing team of qualified, diverse professionals in Dulles, Virginia . We are seeking a highly qualified, strong leader to influence and enable the strategic direction of the Contracts, Property and Operations Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Trusted Partner to the Vice President of Contracts and P&E.
Providing leadership and oversight to the Contracts organization.
Managing the Records Retention organization which maintains complete and accurate records to include offsite storage for Space Systems sector.
Managing the Property Organization and ensuring property control activities, and accountability of government property, are in compliance with policy and FAR Part 45 property regulations.
Ensuring contractual compliance throughout the sector.
Acting as the focal point with Corporate Contracts to ensure widespread company best business practice utilization, and leading in the development of tools to meet organizational objectives.
Regularly interacting with executive management at the Division, Sector, and Corporate levels.
Working with management teams within the division and sector to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues.
Effectively mitigating competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Serving as a proactive team player, working independently, and leveraging excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Supporting Sector and Corporate Contracts Councils and providing resources and input to assist with identification and completion of key strategic initiatives.
Cultivating internal and external customer relationships.
Participating in Government/Industry forums and councils to include interface with DCMA as well as Government customer points of contact (with respect to Government Property matters).
Overseeing management systems, manuals, policies and regulations to ensure contractual and continual accountability of government, customer, and company assets.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 10+ years of experience with acquisition management, including knowledge of contracts in the US government market.
Experience providing advice to various levels of leadership regarding contractual rights, obligations and interpretation of terms and conditions.
Broad experience in managing contracts throughout the acquisition life cycle and a strong understanding and knowledge of government acquisition processes.
Experience reviewing and approving contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual posture and ensuring adherence to company policy.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience managing geographically disbursed teams.
Master's degree in a business related field.
Global contractual experience with international pursuits and contract awards.
Active US Top Secret Security clearance.
NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)
Government Property Management experience.
