The Space Security (SPS) Business Unit is looking for an Classified Operations Administrator 2 or Principal Classified Operations Administrator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dulles, Virginia.
The Classified Operations Administrator is a vital member of the SPS team and required to perform various office functions that enable our classified programs to execute in an efficient manner. This includes tasks such supporting classified data transfers; escorting uncleared personnel; screening callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and generally ensuring the secure spaces have proper administrative support.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with written and verbal communication to various levels of the organization; answers questions relating to office operations; establishing policies and procedures and gathering, compiling, and reporting on information relevant to supervisor's assignment.
Essential functions consist of (but not limited to):
Escort uncleared maintenance and cleaning personnel, including planning schedules.
Performs administrative duties and coordinates for special projects or events involving multiple locations.
Manage secure conference room calendars and deconflict schedules as required.
Ensure secure areas are properly stocked with office supplies.
Complete data transfers between networks
Procure material and supplies to support organization using corporate card and internal purchasing systems.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to be an exceptional team player, interface well at all levels in the organization.
Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented, and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently
Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality
This position offers limited remote work options due to the classified nature of the job. The position sits full time at the Dulles, VA campus. This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This requisition may be filled at either a Classified Operations Administrator 2 or Principal Classified Operations Administrator 3 level.
Basic Qualifications for a level 2 Classified Operations Administrator:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience as an administrative assistant or performing administrative related work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook or PowerPoint)
Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances: Department of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years OR SCI Access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR Department of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications for a level 2 Classified Operations Administrator :
Ability to exercise good judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through.
Demonstrates outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman (NG) policies and procedures
Familiarity with NG systems (Concur, iBuy, and other NG tools)
Advanced proficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel.
Existing TS/SCI clearance

Salary Range: $43,600 - $72,600
Salary Range 2: $51,800 - $86,400
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
