Northrop Grumman 2019 - Associate Engineer Electrical in Dulles, Virginia

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems as a part of the avionics suite for satellites.

Performance standards that an incumbent must have to be successful in this position include:

  • Leadership andteamwork capabilities

  • Interpersonalcommunication skills

  • Extracurricularactivities (campus organizations, clubs, student organizations, communityservice)

  • Ability toeffectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

  • Exceptionalwritten and oral communication skills

ProspectQualifications: A prospect, regardless of age and hiring source must meet all of the below criteria:

  • Enrolled in orhaving received an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accreditedcollege/university majoring in ascience, technology, engineering, or related degree with a strong preference on electrical engineering

  • Possessan overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher

  • Beeligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is apre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimumoverall GPA of 3.7

  • Priorinternship or research experience in related field

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft office suite
