Northrop Grumman Launch and Missile Defense Systems Division designs, builds, and delivers space, defense, and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, sub-systems, and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Policy Manager 1 at our Promontory office. This position reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance Policy.
Role Description & Responsibilities
The Manager of Quality Assurance Policy will be responsible for the following:
Working manager - 75/25 direct/indirect charging.
Records review, HAR, IBO, IDR preparation, other tasks as required.
Manage End Item/Self and resources at your campus.
Help develop, streamline, & standardize sell-off processes across all campuses to promote efficiency.
Oversee selloff processes, coordinate with analysts, and meet contract requirements/schedules.
Be an example and resident expert in review/sell off processes, policies & procedures, CM practices.
Able to anticipate, manage, and allocate resources to cover program needs.
Actively engage in maintenance and improvement of sell-off code, applications, and systems.
Solve analyst issues as they are presented.
Daily strategic interaction with customers with the ability to foster positive relationships.
Conduct monthly one and ones and report status to manager.
Hire and train successful candidates.
Mentor and help team members with Development Plans.
Basic Qualifications
Requires BS and a minimum of 6 years' experience or MS with 3 years' experience. Work Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree.
Additional required qualifications include:
Influencing and critical communication skills.
Motivation, leadership, and strong communications skills.
CRM, ESI, SmartSolve, ePIC, Costpoint, Configuration Management skills.
Basic Blueprint, Engineering, Revisions, Parts Lists and MRB experience.
Salary Range: $85,400 - $128,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
