Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is seeking a Driver 2 to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at Promontory Utah .

Roles and Responsibilities
Operates a truck and fifth wheel trailer combination that requires a valid CDL class A with Hazmat endorsement (required), Also, able to operate other type of truck configuration and weights. Passenger endorsement is a plus (may be obtained later).
Transport materials, merchandise, and people within an industrial area, with the occasional transportation outside the industrial area in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Coordinates the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers.
Driver will need to have good relationship building, communication and decision-making skills.
Drive or pilot escort oversize loads on the facility or between facilities.
Performs cleaning, daily inspection, and preventative maintenance on assigned vehicle. Be able to complete the required documentation and report all repairs needed on assigned vehicle.
At the end of each day be able to clear out all jobs (moves) as completed to help keep the IMO system current and complete timecard accurately.
Driver will need to make decisions each day determining if a package can be moved safely and within the In-plant Handling Manual.
While performing the duties of this job, the driver is regularly required to use hands and fingers to use required tie down straps, and is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, and lift or move, up to 50 pounds. The driver is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of CDL driving experience
Valid Class A CDL License

Salary Range: $45,800 - $76,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
