Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Network Deployment Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Columbia, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Looking for a Network Engineer to design, configure, test and install LAN, CAN, and WAN equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating network diagrams and documentation, perform site surveys, create parts list, configure and test equipment, coordinate outages and install/activate circuits and network equipment.
Education requirements: High School/GED + 6 yrs; Associate's + 4 yrs; Bachelor's + 2 yrs
Experience with Fibre Channel
Experience with network equipment (Brocade, Cisco, Nexus, etc)
Experience with encryptors (KG, etc)
Experience with Enterprise level infrastructure (WAN, CAN)
Familiar with creating documents using MS Visio
Must hold an active Security+ certification
Security: Active TS/SCI w/Poly
Experience working with intelligence community (IC ITE)
Experience with Network Architecture
