Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Associate / Engineer Electrical. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and will support the Sentinel - Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program . This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You ' ll Get To Do:

The Command and Launch (C&L) IPT, Command and Control (C2) sub-team is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to support C2 Lab Operations and Design in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, the candidate will support lab operations build-up / integration of hardware and software units as well as lab electrical design generation. Familiarity with engineering drawings, network diagrams and schematics and various test equipment is required for this position. A successful candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers and other engineers. Additionally, they will support anomaly investigation / troubleshooting as well as implement best practices and demonstrates good hardware configuration management and tool accountability.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You ' ll Bring These Qualifications:

Associate Engineer Electrical:

  • 0 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science.

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and help provide solutions across teams/sites.

  • Familiarity with lab equipment (DMMs, O-scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) and lab processes (ESD, FOD, Configuration Management, etc.)

  • Experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, Confluence)

Engineer Electrical:

  • 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and help provide solutions across teams/sites.

  • Familiarity with lab equipment (DMMs, O-scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) and lab processes (ESD, FOD, Configuration Management, etc.)

  • Experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, Confluence)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

  • Experience with integrating and testing ruggedized, tactical, embedded hardware

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customers

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

  • Exposure to 3D modeling tools (i.e; NX, AutoCAD)

Salary Range: $65,500 - $98,300

Salary Range 2: $79,300 - $118,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
