Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Software Engineer - DevSecOps based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
This position is for a DevSecOps developer on the C2BMC program. The candidate will be responsible for platform development converged infrastructure, secured operating system, and secured container cluster environment.
Responsible for CI/CD pipeline development to include deployment automation, test automation, and metrics reporting/collection.
Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of pipeline products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.
Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, setting standards and improving overall efficiency of the pipeline.
If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.
An active Secret clearance is required.
5 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) within 60 days of hire.
Software development in object-oriented languages such as Java or Python
Use of common Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as GitLab, Nexus, Ansible, NetBox and Tower
Use and configuration of container platform/orchestration products such as Kubernetes
Use of common agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Agility
Design, configuration, and administration of Active Directory in a large, distributed enterprise
Development of geographically distributed, private cloud, Information Technology (IT) systems
Development of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems
Design and configuration of converged and hyperconverged IT infrastructure
Agile software development as part of a Scrum team
Basic software practices such as configuration management and build automation
Operating system (Linux, Windows) configuration, scripting, and installation
Development of Test automation
Development of Automated deployment
Development of CI/CD automation and orchestration
Design and configuration of container runtime and clustering environments
Problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis
Communication and coordination across technical teams
Compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
