Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector organization is seeking applicants for a position on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS) Senior Systems Analyst (SA).
The PARCS SA will support the PARCS lead system Engineer and be responsible for conducting analyses of the PARCS weapon system Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) for both mission and system level requirements. Duties will include tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the performance measures, generating formal reports, and providing quarterly presentations to the PARCS weapon system stakeholders or other more frequent technical interchanges, as well as conducting impact analyses of planned system modifications.
The SA will be expected to have a basic knowledge of ground systems space and missile warning missions (e.g., Space surveillance sensor accuracy and response and Missile Warning/Defense tracking, messaging, launch and impact point data). In addition, system knowledge of ground based phased array radar (such as system availability, reliability, and maintainability) with preferred experience and knowledge of the PARCS sensor is also required. Experience in an MBSE program is preferred but not mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 9 years applicable experience or 7 years experience with a Masters degree in the same disciplines
Active DoD Secret clearance that is or has been active within the last two years
Ability to travel on occasion to Northrop Grumman and customer locations
Comprehensive experience in conducting PARCS systems level performance analyses
Experience with model-based systems engineering
