Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Threat Modeling Center (TMC) and IRADs related to Threat Modeling in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Duties:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.


Basic Qualifications:

  • For an Engineer Systems 2: Bachelor's and 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 0 years of relevant experience.

  • For a Principal Engineer Systems 3: Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.

  • For a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems 3: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of systems engineering experience; or 7 years' experience with a Master's degree; or 4 years with PhD.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

  • Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

  • Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS

  • Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Modeling and simulation experience

  • Strong math, physics or engineering background

Level 2:Minimum Salary $74,240 Maximum Salary $111,360

Level 3: Minimum Salary $92,00 Maximum Salary $138,000

Level 4 : Minimum Salary $114,080 Maximum Salary $171,120
