Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Engineer based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
The Cyber A&A Engineer will utilize their Assessment & Authorization (A&A) background to analyze ACAS scans for continuous system Authorization.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with stake holders (e.g., Product Owners, Cyber peers, Program Office technical/management staff, and other Functional Areas) to assess system vulnerabilities, generate engineering responses for system POA&Ms, and conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs).
All tasks are executed in 2-week Agile sprints and the Cyber A&A Engineer will work on an Agile Product team reporting directly to the A&A Product Owner.
The Cyber A&A Engineer may need to assist in the creation and updating of RMF packages in the eMASS tool.
This position will straddle between the Hwy83 and Schriever Air Force Base work locations.
An active Secret clearance is required.
2 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level I or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
Solid Cybersecurity engineering skills with a working knowledge of Cyber technologies, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) 800-53
Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communication
Thorough understanding of ACAS outputs
Hands-on analysis of scan data
Some experience managing Cyber Tasking Orders / IAVAs workflow
IT Automation Engine development (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)
Some experience patching & maintaining Configuration Management of complex and disparate enterprise systems

Salary Max: $122,520
