Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems - Aerospace Structures Division - Clearfield, UT has a current opening for experienced Quality Inspector 2 with
strong technical background to review and evaluate system effectiveness across the breadth of products and processes including human space systems, test and evaluation, laboratories, facilities, and commercial products.
Work requires the desire and ability to improve processes in partnership with other organizations.
Experienced skills in manufacturing, processing, testing, hazard analysis, safety, and environmental regulation compliance that supports a hands-on approach to internal assessments.
This role requires an ability to develop, plan, schedule, complete, analyze, track, and follow up on process assessments and audits - both independently and with groups.
Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.
Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
Technical interpretation of requirements and investigation of compliance systems will be required.
Assignments are varied by areas, but will cover the entire scope of the program
Targeted to those eager to contribute and drive system ovements. Professional training and certifications during the job will be identified and encouraged.
Must be able to foster information sharing and transfer of expertise.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
Must have Composite Experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Must be able to support multiple shifts
Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products
