The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29 .The NG-MIP program is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. The Northrop Grumman Military internship Program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
Responsibilities for this internship position are:
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman - Military Internship Program (DoD SkillBridge) utilizing the DoDI guidance for SkillBridge. During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program.
Goals - Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC.
Objectives - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly-trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission "Defining Possible" on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.

DoD SkillBridge Eligibility:
Has served at least 180 days on active duty
Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
Will receive an honorable discharge
Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
Northrop Grumman Air Dominance is seeking a qualified Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst 2 or a qualified Principal Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst 3 to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT to support a Classified Program. This position requires working from our NG facility on a 9/80 schedule. Flexibility of moving to a 4/10 schedule is possible in the future.
Responsibilities will include:
This Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst position will, under general direction, prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated master schedules to meet program and IPT objectives. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material and manufacturing. Analyst will utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. They will also manage scheduling statement of work (SOW) while working with associated project controllers to ensure schedule and budget/forecast are consistent. They will analyze schedule for critical path, recognizing implications of changes and assists in the development and incorporation of work-around plans into the schedule when change is required. Develop necessary reports and metrics to enable management decisions. Utilizes the Earned Value Management (EVM) system to analyze schedules to ensure they are consistent with budgets and forecast. Performs IPT Scheduling for complex program IMS in a lead scheduling role for smaller projects. Provides integrated scheduling from proposal through execution phase of contract.

Basic Qualifications Level 2;
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of program planning and scheduling experience OR a Master's Degree with entry level experience
Ability to work full time on site in Clearfield, UT with a clearance
Active, final SECRET clearance in-scope (within 5 years), or ability and willingness to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
Basic Qualifications Level 3;
Master's degree with 3 years' experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years experience in the following areas: Program Planning, Program Scheduling, Master Planning, Business Management, Program Management, and/or industry related experience
Ability to create high level metrics and brief to executive, program and customer leadership
Experience creating and managing a schedule using a scheduling software such as : MS Project, Primavera, Real Time Project, Deltek Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or similar
Experience with earned value management
Experience using Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including creating, maintaining, analyzing and manipulating spreadsheets with complex formulas)
Ability to work full time on site in Clearfield, UT with a clearance
Active, final SECRET clearance in-scope (within 5 years), or ability and willingness to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
Preferred Qualifications ;
Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and the detail development of an IMS
Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and be able to support implementation on programs
Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)
Salary Range: $60,600 - $90,800
Salary Range 2: $74,600 - $111,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
